About soura subsidy scheme:
The Solar Rooftop Scheme has been launched in the country by the Government of India and the Ministry of Renewable Energy. Under this scheme, any citizen of the country can get solar panels installed on their roof for free. You can install solar panels not only at your home but also on the roofs of any office, factories etc. Under the scheme, 10 square meters of space is required to install a 1 kW solar panel. On installing solar rooftop panels up to 3KW at home, the beneficiary gets government subsidy of up to 40 percent.

Step 1: First of all go to the official website, the name of this site is solarrooftop.gov.inStep 2: After visiting the website, you will see ‘Apply For Rooftop Solar’, simply click on that option.Step 3: After that In the next page, click on the link for your state’s website.
Step 4: Now a form will be open infront of you, here you need to fillup the form with proper details.
Step 5: After giving all the information, click on the submit button. In this way you can apply for Solar Rooftop Scheme online.
How to calculate the cost of installing solar panels:-
Step 1: First off all go to the official website solarrooftop.gov.in
Step 2: After visiting the website, click on the Solar Rooftop Calculator.
Step 3: After that a new page will be open where you will see this three option- Total Roof Top Area, Solar Panel Capacity you want to install, Your budget.
Step 4: Choose the option as your need, after selecting the option enter the information of the area of the roof, then enter the details of your state, customer type etc.
Step 5: After entering the details, click on the button of Calculate. After that the details of the expenses related to the installation of solar panels will come.
