The CBSE has announced that the CTET exam for the year 2024 (CTET 2024) will take place on January 2, 2024. If you are a CTET aspirant, you can apply online from November 3 to November 23 this year. The applicants must pay the application fee by the night of November 23. CTET will be held in 135 cities across India and question papers will be provided in 20 different languages. There are two papers in the CTET examination: Paper 1 for teaching classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. Apply online on the CTET website (ctet.nic.in)
How to apply for CTET 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the CBSE CTET at ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link to apply online.
Step 3: Click on New Registration and register.
Step 4: Fill out the application form carefully.
Step 5: Upload scanned images of your recent photograph and signature.
Step 6: Pay the application fee using a Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.
Step 7: Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference.
Fee structure of CTET 2024
The CTET January, 2024 applicants belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay Rs 1000 for a single paper and Rs 1200 for both the papers. The registration fee for SC, ST, and differently abled individuals are Rs 500 for a single paper and Rs 600 for both the papers.
