In the winter, we get a lot of tasty and healthy vegetables, which are definitely rich in all the vitamins that a human body needs. Think of sweet carrots, juicy beetroots, and yummy sweet potatoes. There are also lots of green leafy vegetables like spinach and lettuce, which are really good for your health and improves the blood circulation. And don’t forget vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, and cabbage—they’re great in soups or roasted. These winter veggies are not just good to eat; they also keep us strong and healthy when it’s cold outside.

Here is a list of seven winter vegetables that you can grow in 30 days:

1. RADISH

Radishes are basically winter vegetables and are very easy to grow. They are one of the fastest-growing winter vegetables. Radishes take 3 to 4 weeks to grow fully and are rich in minerals, vitamins, and other nutritional compounds.

2. SPINACH

This leafy vegetable, spinach, is a superfood. It enriches our blood circulation and prevents us from developing cancer. It takes only 28–30 days to develop from sowing to harvest. Consuming this leafy vegetable is a natural way to boost our health with the needed vitamins and minerals.

3. CARROT

Carrot is a tasty and healthy vegetable that is full of benefits. There are several advantages of consuming a carrot: an increase in vision, helps in weight gain, low risk of cancer, improves immunity and many more.

4. BEANS

Beans are rich in fibers. Beans are harvested in a short time, in just 3-4 weeks. They also benefit the nearby crops by providing nitrogen in their roots.

5. GREEN ONIONS

Green onions are mostly used for garnish and are harvested within 3–4 weeks. This vegetable is also rich in vitamin K, which is very important for the growth and development of our body.

6. LETTUCE

Lettuce is eaten as a salad and is rich in vitamin A. They are really important to maintain healthy skin, bones, and eyes. This vegetable does not take much time to harvest and is fully grown within 25 days.

7. TURNIP

Turnips are rich in fibers and help with digestion process. Both the roots and leaves of the turnip are edible. These vegetables grow within 30 days and require lots of water.
