Government of India has started a new scheme called Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan. Through this scheme digital awareness and education will be given to the people of rural areas of the country. About Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan:
PM narendra modi has launched Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan 2023 (PMGDISHA). Many Indian citizens live in the rural areas and it has been seen that many people are not able to take advantage of government schemes due to lack of understanding of internet and computers. Under this scheme one member of the family will be get computer related training. In this training ~ Internet usage, taking advantage of government facilities through internet, online payment etc will be taught to the applicants. After that they will be know the knowledge of internet of things.

Pmgdisha Registration Process:
Step 1: First of all you need to go to the official website, the name of that website is https://www.pmgdisha.in/
Step 2: After visiting the site, you will see “Direct Candidate” button in the homepage. You have to simply click on that button.
Step 3: After that a login page will be open infront of you, in that page you will see “Register option” on the downside.
Step 4: When you click on the register button, a registration form will be open.
Step 5: In this registration form, you will have to fill all the information asked like UIDAI Number, Student Name, Gender, Date of Birth, etc.
Step 6: After that on the next page you have to do the next step of e-KYC which can be done either by scanning fingerprint or scanning eyes or verifying OTP in mobile phone.
Step 7: Then you can see your information by clicking on the student tab. After successfully registration, you can open your new account.
Benifits of the scheme:
• Free training will be provided to one member of the family of rural area.
• Priority will be given to SC, ST, BPL category, Woman Divyang and Minorities.
• After the training people will get a lot of knowledge about internet and computer.
• In this training you will be taught about email sending, searching information in internet, making online payment etc.
• Any member of the family who is not digital literate can apply for this training.
How to download pmgdisha certificate?
There is an online test will be held after the training ! where 25 questions are asked in this online test, if the applicant able to get 7 answered correctly, then the candidate passes the test. After that the applicant get PMGDISHA certificate.
